Kalisi is a Telegu word meaning “together.” It is a salute to her family, whose roots in South Africa started when her grandfather landed alone as boy on the shores of Natal, part of the indentured labourers arriving in the hopes of creating a better life. It is the heartbeat of many Indian communities, how they survived, how they grew, how the progressed in life. Together.

It also beautifully mirrors Ecclesiastes 4:9–11:

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.

If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”

It is the basis of Lynne’s life, blog and her online store. Kalisi is more than just a word—it’s a reminder that life is richer when we walk side by side, loving, supporting and encouraging one another.

Lynne is a self‑published author who boldly launched her first book, Warriors of Worship and Praise, to inspire God’s people to live a life of worship and praise. She is passionate about writing and creating a space where creatives can connect and collaborate.

Kalisi is an online store stocking statement t-shirts. She believes wearing a statement tee with scripture gives you the perfect opening line to share the gospel. Through Kalisi, she also built a space for fellow self‑published authors to showcase their books and reach new readers.

Beyond family and writing Lynne’s heart is for women. She founded WHIPS (Women Helping, Impacting, Praying, Serving)—a community where women courageously share their stories to uplift others. She also hosts Renew and Refresh, an online Bible study and prayer group where women gather to dive into God’s Word and encourage one another.

Her passion is to mobilize women to impact their communities, strengthen the local church, and live out their faith with courage. Lynne is married to Dr. Roland Moses, and they have 2 daughters.
